A strategic decision has been made to bring Hydro’s payroll services in Norway in-house. To lead this transition, we are hiring a Payroll Lead to play a key role in establishing and managing our in-house payroll operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of payroll processes in Norway, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to local regulations and Hydro’s global framework.
Payroll will be part of Hydro’s Global Business Services (GBS) HR Norway, allowing you to collaborate with a large, internal HR community delivering services to all business areas within Hydro.
This high-impact role demands a strong background in payroll transformation, process optimization, and team leadership. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and ongoing improvement of payroll processes, ensure full compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations, and lead the recruitment and development of a high-performing payroll function.
The position can be located at Hydro’s head office in Vækerø, Oslo – or in other Hydro locations in Husnes, Høyanger, Karmøy, Sunndal or Årdal.
