We are looking for an engineer or technical professional to oversee and further develop our production processes. Haplast is in a dynamic growth phase, with significant plans to upgrade our machinery and expand activity, including in Southern Norway.
We seek someone with a strong technical understanding who enjoys hands-on work with production development, machine improvements, and quality assurance. The production machinery you will be working with is the heart of our factory, essential to the entire production process. A breakdown can impact the entire company and our employees. Keeping the machinery running efficiently and continuously improving it is one of our most important tasks.
Your work will include technical follow-up and development of the production process. You will contribute to implementing new machine technology and automation, as well as troubleshooting and improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the production line and ensuring efficient operations. Documentation, development of routines, and instruction manuals will also be key aspects of the role, in close collaboration with operators and the technical department.
Desired qualifications
To succeed in this role, we are looking for a candidate with an engineering degree or another relevant technical background. Experience in production technology, automation, or industrial development will be highly advantageous. Familiarity with KRAH technology is an extra strength. You should have a solid understanding of technical calculations, as well as fundamental knowledge of chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Furthermore, proficiency in Excel and technical documentation is required. As we are part of an international industry, strong written and spoken English skills are essential.
